"The equipment used by the US military and US government is provided by contractors from numerous venues; the US military does not provide nor build its own weapons. It buys them. It buys what's available. Those who sell weapons and systems and equipment to the US military do not do so altruistically, but for profit. So long as the Chinese components are the only item or the only economically viable item, they'll continue to be used."
