In the northeast entered it about 14k and exited around 300. Probably would have thought it was just thick haze if it hadn’t been present across half the continent and had a slightly smoky odor.

Lots of smoke descending into MSP today. We need to sue the state of CA for polluting the entire country’s air quality.

A WONDERFUL idea. Then when they can’t pay the settlement we can give them the option to succeed and form their own country along with Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii. Many problems solved....

Most of the fires are on federal land.

You going to sue Trump's government?

The State of California filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Forest Service Feb. 28 alleging that its forest management plans are illegal and harmful to four federally managed forests in California, including the Los Padres National Forest.
The USFS has been effectively shut down in CA for a couple decades, everybody knows this. The state of CA is responsible for this ecological disaster, to suggest DJT's 3 1/2 years in office has anything to do with it is ridiculous.

You can always count on pilots to turn any conversation into a political dick measuring contest.

Like “Colorado Rocky Mountain High”, now one of the two state songs of Colorado.
