Best BBQ joints
Figured I’d start this thread so we can all share our best BBQ recommendations in one place as they kind of got lost in the Texas mask thread. Here are my top go to places
MCI - Scott’s Kitchen
MSP - ZZQ
DFW - Meat U Anywhere
MEM - Central BBQ
PHX/DVT - Pork On A Fork

Mabel’s in Cleveland. I know, seems odd, but their brisket is on point. Fatty or lean, both are legit.
Red State BBQ in Lexington, KY is pretty decent too. Whatever meat you get, gotta get the baked beans as a side.

Franklin in AUS is a standard and the best brisket I've ever had...but I always liked Iron Works in downtown.
Mike Anderson's southeast of DAL, near Parkland Hospital.
Jack Stack near MKC.
Rick's Smokehouse in HUF was a surprise find.

MCI - Arthur Bryant’s. Dating back 140 years. Food critic of the New Yorker said it was the best bbq in the world.

Rudy’s BBQ in Leon Springs - Northwest of SAT on I-10.
Not to be confused with nearby Leon Valley - known for notorious speed traps and questionable police practices, and no, they haven’t gotten me - at least not yet...
