Question How long until FAA tries to regulate Mars?

The first ever flight on another planet took place a few hours ago with the Mars helicopter.

How long until the FAA tries to lay claim over Martian airspace?

By treaty, the US government already has a legal obligation to provide oversight of US corporations, businesses, and individuals operating on “bodies” in outer space. My assumption is the regulatory state will grow as our activities expand beyond LEO.
