Or act as more entitled “officers”. What a nuts program. I’d say the massive cost is worth the laughs alone seeing some of these cats.

TSA is every bit the financial black hole/boondoggle that it promised to be when it was implemented almost 20 years ago.
(20 years- time sure has passed quickly)

Civil servants are a key voting constituency of the current regime, that's all.

TSA guy in Richmond the other day was trying to stop a determined old lady from putting her cat on the conveyor belt. He kept saying this is an X-Ray, not a CAT scan. She finally caught on and asked what she should do. He said you’ll have to let the cat out of the bag. Had a lot more bad cat jokes too, but at least he had a sense of humor.

I took my dog to the vet. He was unresponsive. The vet said he was dead. I ask for more tests. He opened the door, in walked a cat. The cat scampered in front of the dog. No response from the dog. The vet said that would be $500. I said for what? He said for the CAT scan.

I suppose just stopping the screening of low likelihood of terrorism folks - 80 year nuns, active duty in uniform, kids under 10, etc., would be too hazardous to contemplate?

Then a black dog came in and sniffed your dog. It was another $500 for the lab work?

Sorry, I’m done with the dumb jokes for now.

How about we take our God Given Civil Rights back and not submit to such unwarranted invasions of our privacy? If we just level the playing field and allow everyone to be armed while traveling, we could get rid of the wasteful Gubment spending on “Thousands Standing Around” and have the largest private security force on the planet. 9/11/2001 started it and it has gone downhill ever since. Getting all of us stupid sheep “used” to the idea that giving up some freedom is an acceptable trade for more security? We can only blame ourselves for succumbing to tyranny.
