Oshkosh / AirVenture 2021?
#2
I might be able to make it this year but I'd most likely have to drive in. Really wonder what it'll be like. And if it's going to be a swamp, at least my truck has 4WD and I have a camper shell on the back with a nice air mattress!

Haven’t missed one in 35 years. I’m a long time volunteer and chairman on the ground marshaling/ parking crew, plus I live in WI so I follow this pretty closely. They did announce a few minor changes to the event, mostly indoor large gatherings and the exhibit hangars, but those changes (announced months ago) are out of step with recent developments in the state- masks are mostly gone, sports venues are back to 100% capacity, etc. We’ll see how EAA adapts but I’m sure there will be more changes coming. If Sun & Fun was any indication, Oshkosh will be huge this year.

EAA Camp Scholler is on the grounds and has full hookup sites available, have you looked at that? They don’t open for reservations for a few more weeks but you should have no trouble getting a site once they do.
