If you think the 777 cockpit is quiet, go up into the upper pilot rest area. So quiet, I could hear the air coming out of the gasper vent.

Yes rick I understand that. I was referring to the post by a previous user. I couldn't put the 175 against his MD80 or 777 because I hadn't been up front there. But the 175 is a very quiet bird.

Decibel Envy!

I've logged many hours on the Mad Dog jumpseat (thanks AA and AK crews) and I'm always shocked at how quiet it is. I'd say much quieter than the the 777.

The 747-400 is really noisy too, but who cares when you're doing .92 on the get home leg
