Looking for a TB-9

Hey gang, I need a little help here.
For a couple of summers in college, I flew a Socata Tampico, and absolutely loved the little French POS.
However, the plane was sold unexpectedly, and I haven't flown the model since.
Additionally, it's been quite a while since I flew something that wasn't the EMB145.
So, what I'm hoping to do is go fly a TB-9 since this will get me back in a piston AND back in the Tampico. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble finding an FBO that has one to rent. I'll even go fly the TB-10 if that's what it takes.
Does anybody know of a TB-9/10 for rent?

Call Parks College. They'd probably make you a great deal on one. There are only about 70 of them in the US and Parks accounts for 25 of them.

I have about 300 hours in said POS. Yeah, it's a good little airplane. Nice wide cabin, with room to stretch out. As long as it wasn't too cold, or too hot outside it was all good. I think it was one of the hardest to land pretty on a consistient basis. Gotta love that cruise speed! When you're building time hours are what matters...

Wow... there are actually other people with a soft spot for the Tampico. I heard a couple of them over at Parks got new paint... anyone have a pic?

Does Parks actually rent them out, or would I have to enroll in the college?

Last I knew "officially" only students, faculty, staff, and alumni could rent them, but My guess is they would probably give you a checkout in it anyway. I'll see what i can find out and update you.

Groove,
13, 45, 46 and 47 are painted. I think they plan on hitting more as needed. The seminoles are needing it now.

Pip-
I'm giving some serious consideration to hitting a bar or two when I get back from my trip tomorrow. If your sim schedule allows it, do you have any interest in coming? I don't know who else from my end is in town, but you'd be more than welcome to bring any classmates. I know what a biatch TSA's training is.

I'm off Thurs and Friday. I might have to take you up on that offer man.

Cool beans. If you opt in and you're okay with it, PM me with your cell number. I'll give you a call when I'm back from the trip and have figured out what I'm doing.

Flew one a couple years back at MVP Aero in Conroe, TX - Just north of Houston.

Another Parks guy here...glad to hear some love goin' around for the good old Tampico...definitely miss flying it. POPA, I'm not sure where you would prefer flying, but found this place after a quick search...Baltimore-Washington area and looks like they have their own little fleet... Let us know if you get around to flying one
