New Study:Seeking Student Pilot Participants

1) Students enrolled in Part 141 or Part 61 programs for a 5 minute online study: "Imagine you’re the FO: How would you respond?"
If you have completed your PPL and started or completed your commercial, we need your help!
2) Task: A 5-minute online survey: your impressions of a Captain and FO's pre-flight preparation, a situation that emerges in-flight (non-emergency) and a 10 item personality survey.
The survey is anonymous. There are no questions about mental health.

3) Researcher: Dr. Karol Maybury teaches and conducts research on aviation cognition and personality at the University of Maine.
The findings will be summarized for an academic paper on personality and flight deck dynamics.

The study was reviewed by the University of Maine, Farmington Institutional Review Board to ensure it complies with human subjects ethical standards.

How would a student or private pilot have the slightest clue about what to do, how to act, or how they might respond on a crewed flight deck, with a Captain and First Officer?
