Funny! All the gravity of flight safety and pilot qualifications just went out the window.
Model airplanes are surprisingly realistic nowadays. Hollywood must make a good business using scale models in flight sequences. If you use a highly detailed gas-powered 1/16 model, fly it carefully, add some really big backdrops, and slow down the frame rate it is almost impossible to know it is a toy. Imagine how many scenes there are in movies we see every day where they snooker you with a model. Next time I see that Harrison Ford movie "Six Days Seven Nights" I expect to see models of the Beaver.
