No, haven't given up flying, just way too busy lately and looking for another CFI. Say, maybe I can trade my dining table for lessons?
That's how I feel about MD-80 pictures. ;) OK OK, I'll send em today. I promise. Jeez, now I feel bad. Sulks away with tail between legs. |
"How small is your pickup?"
It's a Subaru Baja. Very small. It has an opening that allows for 4' x 8' sheets of plywood. For sure the legs would have to come off. I guess the only way to tell for sure is to measure the table at whatever the point it is that it could be most completely broken down (temporarily broken down, that is). Then, I could figure out if it will fit. If that's too much of a hassle, then don't worry about it. It seems like someone around Seattle with a truck would take it off your hands. |

....and with Winter coming up, firewood..... Don't have to go rustling around the forest with a chainsaw. sorry, I'm leaving now. I have lots and lots of work to do..... |
de727, the table is 42 inches in diameter, without the leaves. It's a round table and becomes oblong with the leaves.
11Fan, if you come get my table, you wouldn't have to mail the pictures! ;) |
Okay, it doesn't sound like it would fit in my little Baja. Sorry.

Vag,
Many years ago -during the Cold War- there was this guy from Prague that wanted to escape the oppression of Communism. He decided that he would try to make a run for the fence in the darkness of night and escape to freedom. Sadly, he was captured and spent 10 years in prison. When he was released, he decided to make another break for the border. He hid himself under a delivery truck that was crossing into Germany. Sadly, he was captured again and spent another 10 years in prison. When he was released, he decided to make even another break for the border. This time he had his friends place him inside of a large box and then they took him to the post office. He was shipped to Germany and is now living life as a free man in Europe. And that is how they came up with the term…... "The Czech is in the mail"... as are the pictures dear. |
