Default Lightspeed Zulu

Anyone have this headset? i know that Lightspeed's are known for their comfort, not so much for their durability. Anyone know if this new one is more durable than the others?

I was allowed to test a zulu a couple of months ago. It was even better than my 30G and I am waiting for the helicopter version to come out to purchase one (or two). VERY comfortable and the bluetooth worked perfectly with my cell phone with absolutely NO background noise. In my opinion, slightly better than Bose X and less expensive........I used it in my Cessna 180 and a Hiller UH12E.

Do you think they could hold up to serious usage?

I have the ZULU. Performance wise it is very similar to the Bose. It is very comfortable and I can wear it all day w/o any problem. I feel it is quite durable, however; the only problem I have is that the ear cups swivel while in storage and I feel that will be the weak point. The rest of the headset looks well built. The bluetooth works flawlessly with my cell and I use it with my computer while on vatsim as well.

I feel if you are considering the lightspeed as with any product it is probably better to wait for a revision while the early adopters find the kinks with the headset.
