Absoloutly no offense intended but most people on this website talk in terms of 100's or 1000's of tt and you saying that 5hrs TT strikes me funny:)
Where you flying out of??

Haha!

I fly out of Chino (CNO) in SoCal.

Welcome to the forums.

Some advice: be careful about posting in the "airline pilot" forums, since you're an aspiring, young pilot. Look at the posts as an observer for awhile and you will realize why.

Good luck with your solo and with all of your flying endeavors!

Ahh awesome! I was supposed to train out of SNA, but due some difficulty with a CFI, i moved to CNO. It's ALOT closer, and cheaper, so it was a win win situation!

Chris:

Im not sure i'm understanding about posting in the airline pilot forum? Should i not post there?

welcome aboard! i envy you. i remember when i loved to fly and when every trip to the airport was exciting.

there are a lot of very experienced guys on the forum and almost any question you can think of can be answered. one caution: be humble.

Basically if you have question you can ask but, if you review the previous threads you will most likley find the answer there. Just be careful about asking paid for training (PFT) questions:) You'll open a whole can of worms with that one... If you look through threads you'll know what mean:) :)
But, don't be afraid to ask anything you'll get an honest answer.

Welcome to the forum, of course you can post here. I think the point may be that there have many many "new to aviation...how do I" questions on the forum - the search feature is your friend!

Welcome!

Advice for a pilot in training

Hello Bigey,

I ran across a website today that had some advice a student pilot was given when he was in training, thought you might like it. It's a bit long to post here so I'll just send you the link and the title:

www.pilot-info.com

Look for the story Learning to Fly - The Theory of the "Three Buckets"

It's not bad.

Oh, and a warm welcome to the forums as well as the wonderful world of aviation!:)

You still love to fly. If you didn't, you would be working at Walmart as a door greeter and making more $$$$.
