Hard Avro landing video?
 

Ok, someone posted a video of a super hard landing in an Avro (I think it was in a thread talking about landings). For the life of me, I can't find that thread (been searching for 2 days) or the video... anyone remember what I'm talking about?

no problem! Actually, I just went to youtube and typed in a couple of relevant search terms like: Avro and LCY, and voila!

Google-fu just has a better ring to it than 'youtube-fu'.

Haha wow! I think I have read about this landing though, a couple like that actually in London City involving the Avro's. Supposedly one was taken off on a barge to be repaired? Either way good advertising for the landing gear hah.

Good Grief, that brings back memories!

I am pretty sure I had a landing in BHM that would have looked very similar to that. The Avro had/has VERY stout trailing link mains. The nose not so much, by the looks of it she might have had some damage from the pounding the nose gear took.
