World of Warcraft Addiction
 

I'm looking for any other pilots who if you're anything like me are addicted to playing world of warcraft during layovers. If you are, I'm trying to create a guild just for pilots to hang out and talk about how much our jobs suck and play some video games. Send me a reply, or on the game my name is HaldenG, if you're interested.

If you hate flying so much and love living in a virtual reality, how come you don't become a game tester instead of just whining and pulling everyone else down with you?

I never said I hated flying, I hate sitting during layovers. When you get a job maybe you'll know what I'm talking about. I posted this thread looking for other pilots that play this game while they're sitting in some strange airport, not to get smart remarks from some kid.

Dude, keep the hatred to yourself. That was a lame response to somebody just looking for gaming buddies.

I play Diablo II, no expansion yet though.

Don't make this a big deal, but I'd rather you'd had said "my" instead of "our". Cause my job doesn't suck and you are including me in that statement...I'll end it there, I know your just looking for WOW players (I'm not one, yes I understand the irony of my avatar).

How was I hating? I didn't mean to come off that way, but HaldenG's first post sounded a lot like another hefty dose of negativity about the profession that seems to be filling these forums:

First post: Second post: You never said in your first post that you hated the layovers and not the job. Please keep that in mind before you flame me: I'm not hating on people who are addicted to WOW or suggesting that HaldenG should change careers just because he likes WOW so much (it was what he said about how much the job sucks that prompted that).

Either way, I'm sorry I came off as a d**k.

Alright cool, but I'm still looking for anybody else that likes to play world of warcraft to kill the time. If anyone's interested let me know.

ah diablo II. i played that all the time 4-5 years ago. got my account banned for using map hack and mostly meph/pindle bots. good times good times.
