What to do with your expired charts?

I'm sure a few of you do this already, but I recently told my roommates to save their expired enroute charts when doing a Jepp update, and they asked why!

The enroute charts make great wrapping paper for birthdays / holidays, and it personalizes the gift.

I used to save all my sectional charts when I was flying GA and Part 91 for the same purpose...

Just thought I would throw that out there for you guys =)

Fantastic idea.

We could recycle them.

I'll have to ask my FO what she/he does with my old charts after she/he finishes my revisions.

my cats love chasing around wadded up old approach plates.

of course they love playing with milk rings & plastic easter eggs...

Toilet paper.... ouch!

Ahh groovin, you stole my thunder.

But yes, the hi/low charts do make good wrapping paper. Especially for gifts for our significant others that smack us whenever us airplane nerds start talking shop. Ahhh...sweet revenge
