He's going to be in Wiesbaden Germany this Sunday for a big public event on the airfield with entertainment and static displays of vintage aircraft and current military airlifters. Big celebrations here this week as today was the anniversary of the first airlift flight to Berlin 60 years ago.

I commerated the day in my own special way by flying from Wiesbaden to Berlin-Tempelhof on a training flight this morning. Every time I go up there I think about that airlift and what tremendous effort all of those aviators put forth to keep the West Berliners free.
