O'hare Pics
Hello, I was wondering what the American Airlines pilot lounge at o'hare is like compared to other pilot lounges. Also I was wondering if there is any pictures on the internet of the ORD pilot lounge thanks.

Hmmm, flamebait, or just innocense, either way you probably aren't going to get much due to security issues.

Some day he'll realize there is a whole other world in aviation outside of Chicago. We talk and we talk and we answer his questions, someday the light will click. |
what Im more curious about is why he started two threads about 'pilot lounges' within 6 minutes of each other.
AAL, you can learn a lot here by just lurking. I spend far more time on this website just reading, and rarely post. Try it out. |
ALL LOUNGES ARE JUNK!
Airlines typically put as little as possible into every lounge they have. I cant think of one company that has a lounge that resembles the presidents club etc. They usually are filthy and have nasty chairs and maybe a few couches and one or two tvs. No one ever wants to be in a crew lounge at all and if you are it is for reasons that you are unhappy about. examples: 1. You commute and had to come in 8 hours early because of ________ and you sit there for 8 hours waiting for your showtime. 2. You get done but miss a flight home by 3 minutes and now the next flight is 7 hours away....you sit in the crew room. 3. You have a big gap built into your schedule where you fly, then sit in the crew room for a few hours and then fly again...awful. 4. You are one of those nasty pilots who use the crew room as a crashpad and sleep there multiple nights when you should be in a hotel or crashpad. example 4 is why you dont want to be in the lounge, they smell like people are living there and are equally clean. |
