Recently I had the opportunity to go to a really cool place called Flightdeck Air Combat Center after my friend got me a gift certificate for my birthday. If you ever watched Top Gun and said to yourself, "Hey I can do that!" you need to check this place out. From putting on an authentic fighter pilot flight suit to flying the F-16 simulator and dog fighting against your buddies, it will be an experience you will never forget. At least I know I won't! Nope not a spam post...just wanted to share a cool experience I had.

A stimulator might well be the only place this old bag can fly a fighter! :)

I don't think this is spam, but someone did post spam ads for Viagra in the photos forum. de727ups (I think it was him) took it down real quick though. :cool:

Vagabond, I cannot believe that the denizens of APC let this typo go through unchallenged all weekend. I would have expected better, maybe the ALCS was too distracting. :D

The sim looks fun... I had a little trouble getting the CRJ sim in a 4-G negative dive on my last recurrent MV... :D Not sure about the flight suits though, unless you like being a tool. :p

I took my ex-girlfriend to a similar place in the Mall Of America. We non-revved up there a few years back after I'd taught her the basics of acro and ACM. We'd just never had two airplanes to take up and fight.

She shot me down first, but I led the kill count for the day.. for what that's worth. It was fun, though.
