Thumbs up Timeless Voices Of Aviation

If you enjoy history, especially aviation history, check out this website.

EAA - Timeless Voices of Aviation

I'll use their website to explain:

"The objective of Timeless Voices of Aviation, a major video history project of the EAA AirVenture Museum, is to assure that the first person oral histories of aviation’s development are preserved for future generations of family members, teachers, students, historians and others."

Basically you get to watch an interview with a WW2 pilot who tells you about his/her (yes, some WASP - Women Airforce Service Pilots stores too) experiences during the war.

Here’s a B-24 pilot being interviewed about his 26th mission over Poland where he was shot down and evaded the Germans by escaping to Russia with the help of the “partisans” - the Polish resistance movement.

There are many similar stories on this website and personally I can spend hours just listening to their stories… Yep, that’s how boring I am…
