I needed a laugh after work today. MizKat, I can think of a few lines for you to put out there for your pilot pickups, although many of them are too risque to print here...:D

CalCapt is right, just get creative and let your mind wander....which reminds me....

I got myself in trouble a couple of months ago on a FAM trip. I was waiting for my flight home, and having lunch with a fellow female travel agent at the airport, when in walked a drop dead gorgeous UA captain and his equally fine first officer. I alerted my friend who had her back turned to them, "Nancy, look at my 10 o'clock" She turned and glanced at them, and then turned back to me with a smile on her face. I looked back at her smiling, and thinking that the pilots had kept on walking, I then deadpanned to her, "Either one of them could park their jet in my hangar." I was mortified when I looked up and saw them standing nearby. They had overheard me and were smiling and laughing.

She looked at the color of my face and said loud enough for the pilots to overhear, "you really should put on more sunscreen when we go on these cruise ship FAMS." Thanks to her for trying for a "save", but the pilots were still smiling at us. I felt like such a dork.

I gathered my bag and hurriedly left the restaurant to board my flight home. When we were boarding our flight, our pilots(different ones, thank God) greeted us with a smile and I turned beat red (again!). Nancy gave me sh*t all the way home.

I just thought of something. What if either of those pilots are on this site and are reading this?......"curling up into the fetal position"

I forgot where I was...:o

Well, I look forward to your entertaining stories. Truth of the matter with my story is, that I was just coming home from work, a 5 day cruise FAM, and I wasn't even thinking about anything other than getting some sleep. Those pilots just walked into the restaurant where I was eating and because they looked so handsome, they temporarily hijacked my thoughts.

Good luck with the pilots...:) I'm going for some shut-eye now, so I'll email you later. I have a feeling though, that since you put your email out there, you'll be busy enough...;)

one more thing calcap. i'll be blaming you for my inability to sleep tonight ;)

Excuse me? I am innocent of all charges. Perhaps I misunderstood - did you somehow get a picture of me?;)

mzkat1979 04-26-2006 10:13 PM

pilots, innocent? :)

Here's my suggestion:

"Hey, I'll buy you breakfast if you'll show me your hotel room."

That ought to work pretty well, unless, of course, he's been up all night. Then he might just want to go to sleep. Good luck and let us know how well it works.:D

pickemups

How about saying just loud enough for him to overhear as he goes by: "Hmmm... I need an immediate departure, but with all this ATC congestion there may not be a slot available. Lucky I'm equipped with the OEM solution to that!". ;) Or just catch his eye and say boldly "Is it true what I've just heard about the new Part 135 regulation changes? Viagra is really a required item on all MELs now?" :D

mzkat1979 04-27-2006 09:19 PM

what are MELs? I need to retain all the vocabulary for the pilot dirty talk
