Airplanes crashing in 24

Anyone think the idea of the planes crashing in 24 this season is a bit far fetched?

If terrorists had taken over the ATC system, the faa could still have used dispatch to talk to the planes once they realized the airways were compromised.

Then last night the terrorists made the planes do a mid air collision. I guess the writers never heard of TCAS and see/avoid?

I don't think hollywood is that smart.. Besides how can Jack B save our lives if planes have TCAS and other communication devices..

"TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC - CLIMB!, CLIMB! - clear of conflict...." Doesn't make for a good episode:rolleyes:

It's TV. End of story.

Yea, but at least Tony and the other guy sounded kinda like real ATC guys... They actually referenced flight levels too. I was surprised at that!

It's just as far fetched as the cute redhead (or brunette, whatever she is) FBI agent that was burried in a ditch under a tarp... Bill and Chloey happen to get to her just as she stops breathing, then all of the sudden adrenaline shot makes her heart start beating again? I'm no doctor, but that seems fake, not to mention the timing. if i had that luck i'd go play powerball or go down to Atlantic City that evening. lol. Problem with the general public is they DON'T take TV with a grain of salt and actually believe that stuff. Technology/Bombs/Guns/Cars/Aircraft/Crazy people still makes for good TV tho.
