How could someone let themselves get that heavy, or did he have some sort of disease/sickness?

Super-serious obesity like that is usually the result of compulsive mental illness... Such folks can sometimes bring themselves back down, but it requires mental treatment as well as surgery.

Is this guy the all-time record? He doesn't look nearly as big as that guy in New York a few years ago, whose building had to be partially demolished in order to get him out...

That's simply disgusting. His weight goes far beyond genetics.

Talk about over.... GROSS! Laga I think the fattest guy ever weighed about 1400 lbs, this guy is just the fattest LIVING person. For a while. I'm sure he has some sort of medical problem, but the taco input must also be considered.

i saw a person bigger than this in the news once... can't even move anymore. :rolleyes: i don't see how they can live with this weight. :confused:
