Cessna Crashes Into Porta Potties
No, no, no, this was not me. If I have to go, I go into the bathrooms marked "Women" and in fact, I was in such a place at 3:20 pm today!
From KING5:
PUYALLUP, Wash. – A pilot who landed short of the runway at a small Pierce County airport Friday can thank a bunch of porta potties for making a bad situation even worse.
The single-engine Cessna 182 landed short at the south end of Thun Field at about 3:20 p.m., says Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman Det. Ed Troyer.
Troyer says if the plane hadn’t crashed there, it would have landed on a mobile home. A witness to the crash says there was also a propane tank nearby.
The 67-year-old pilot, who was the only person on board, walked away and should be OK. Initial reports indicated there were two people on board.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
