CNN's Kyra Phillips did a report on your website highlighting the initial low pay of pilots as a contributing factor in the crash of the Colgan Air regional.
I think it ironic that she misquoted your data and assumed the tables were in thousands of dollars per year, when in fact the tables list dollars per hour. Given 72 hrs/month and 12 months per year, actual salaries would be 86% of Kyra's statement. Go get em APCentral!

While it is irresponsible reporting its close enough for now. A first year Colgan FO according to her makes 21K per year when in actuality its $18,900.00 Although its not accurate its pretty close, heck add a few thousand for over guarantee and at least the public gets the idea.

Not really suprised the media flubbed something up about aviation, but honestly, it's not even restricted to aviation either on how bad reporting is now anyways.
