New 737 safety video gives truly bare essenti

Air New Zealand is getting down to the bare essentials with a new in-flight safety video that features flight attendants wearing just body paint.
It's aimed at making passengers pay attention to the often-overlooked airline safety videos shown at the start of each flight.
"We wanted to find a way to deliver these important pre-flight messages to our domestic travelers in a way that was genuine, engaging and fun," said Air New Zealand marketing manager Steve Bayliss.
The safety video was launched Monday on Air New Zealand's Boeing 737 domestic flights (and could expand to other routes). It follows the airline's "Nothing to Hide" ad campaign, which featured pilots, cabin crew and even airline CEO Roy Fyfe wearing just body paint in TV ads this spring to promote the airline's no-hidden-fees domestic fares.

Glad we don't do that at Delta...we'd run outta paint :p

Hhahahaha, very funny Doug Masters.

I thought it was very clever and well done. I like how some companies are willing to go outside the box and try to have some fun.

I saw that it was pretty funny, the pilots were the best.

Can you imagine if they had to try to find a suitable FA at Northwest? or better yet at one of our regionals?

That could have been filed under the "fetish" section.

Gotta be a line in that somewhere.

Awesome!! Just got done watching Zack and Miri make a...

Whats with all the adult humor in my life. Anyone else find themselves trying to look around the life vest package on a 2 dimensional video. The wife looked at me and said "like standing up and looking down at the video is going to help"

I like fun and lots of it. I however despise "fun" safety briefings. I find it unprofessional in the least and most of the time down right embarrassing for the airline and annoying for the frequent traveler. If I am forced to listen to one more " if you're traveling with a child or someone who's acting like a child" I am going to actually use one of those barf bags. Body paint? Give me a break. How about if FAA stopped require briefs for the obvious?

Yeah. I tried to peek around and only saw the backside of my laptop.

My disappointment was soon replaced by other happy thoughts as the cute brunette then demonstrated how to blow into the inflation tube, followed again by disappointment.
