Immigration Question
I've got a US passport since my father is from the states, but I've got a friend who is also interested in becoming a pilot in the US, but doesn't have a green card or is a citizen.
Apparently, his great grandmother (father's mother's mother) was from Indiana. He wanted to know if his grandmother could get citizenship, then his father and eventually him. However, the only papers the grandmother has to provde is a bapismal certificate, not a birth cert! Would that be acceptable or this there a record that goes back that far to prove her mother was from the US? Thanks, I know this is an unusual question, but I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated once I pass this info along! Cheers, fsi |
Make a call to Codi Rice's office. The state department will be happy to answer those questions and may even give you accurate answers. Alternatively, he could mary an american and get a green card and citizenship that way.

Well, hes a year younger than me, making him 16, so I think the marriage idea is out of the question at the moment. We're talking in time for collage, to train etc.
Do you mean Condi Rice? Like Condoleeza (sp?) Thanks, fsi |
