Firefox issues

Howdy all,

Anyone else having trouble with Firefox and APC? I am getting a script error that locks up about one time in four.

Thanks
J

Im having that problem with Chrome. The page will stop loading and I have to refresh to get it to load properly.

I using it right now with Mozilla Firefox and am having no trouble.

I was having this problem about a week ago using opera. I would have to double click the page to get it to open and the site was also slow with OE. I was using a fairly slow connection with an air card. Since I've been on wifi the last week, it seems to be much better.

It seems to be an issue with Flash Player and some of the content. It has affected Chrome and Firefox for sure. It is being addressed by the admins.

Firefox has it's own issues, not relate to APC. I switched to chrome because FF on my PC was constantly bogged down (I tried a wide variety of fixes). Strange thing was that FF worked fine on my laptop.

I'm having the same problem. It's an issue with flash 10 and one of the ads on here... I think it's the Chevy ad... Just CTRL/ALT/DEL, end process tree firefox.exe, restart. Usually unfreezes it for me.

Same problem with Safari.

Planespotta 12-25-2009 08:37 PM

I was wondering which site that came from . .

I get it too . . . regardless of my course of action when I get the message, Safari remains frozen.

I just got it again, here is the pop up:

edit: and either option you click ends up crashing the browser

Any update on this? Using Firefox the part about "this may cause your computer to become unresponsive" is true.

Interesting enough, running LINUX it's not even an issue.

rickair7777 12-30-2009 09:14 AM

Apparently if you update to the latest version of shockwave you won't have the problem. I just did it, good so far.

rickair7777 12-30-2009 11:50 AM

UPDATE: Seems to work OK now with the shockwave update.

It was the chevy ad that was doing it.

I'm getting that same script error using Firefox 4.0.4 with the Bose Headset ad...

dojetdriver 01-12-2010 04:05 PM

Not sure if anybody else is getting it. Wasn't an issue for a while, but it seems to be back.
