Here's a Daily Show clip about the topic from a bit ago... I got a good laugh:

Too bad the real life situation isn't quite as funny.

He's 5' 2", wears high heals, and he wants his citizens to hear him singing!
Yeah, he's crazy. Insecure. etc...

Fortunately, he is not that big of a threat to the U.S. today. Let me explain. Of the missiles he test fired the other day, most of them were SCUD's (technology from the 50's and 60's, and with a limited range, and only accurate in the sense that they can hit a city, not a specific building or even street). Only one of them was a long range missile (oh, it exploded 40 seconds after liftoff). This thing has some serious problems that need to be worked out. Again, maybe 1960's technology. Even if they were able to get their long range missile to work, they are very far from having the capability of carrying a nuclear weapon onboard. Many, many years away. Plus the fact is the U.S. has a good shot of shooting down any missile aimed at our soil. North Korea is currently a threat to South Korea, Japan, China, and Russia. Of course, China and Russia are the two nations on the U.N. security council that don't want to condemn North Korea for their missile tests. Figures. I feel it will be several years before North Korea is a real serious threat to the U.S. That being said, I think it is good that we are dealing with them now.

I think Iran is a bigger threat right now. We cannot allow them to get their hands on nuclear fuel. This must be dealt with soon (sooner than North Korea). Who knows, maybe Israel will step in like they did with Iraq in 1981. That put a stop to their nuclear ambitions!!

Unfortunately, the fact that North Korea is a threat to South Korea and Japan does mean it is, by virtue of our alliances and troop stations, a threat to the United States as well, albeit not to our soil.

I read somewhere that he also perms his hair. Asian hair is almost always straight, but his hair has a puffy salon look about it.

Whatever the case might be, the guy is a clown. Its plain and simple that he's in this for attention. Soon enough, he'll get whats coming for him.

We have all these nukes sitting around...what true enviornmental problem would be caused by a low yield nuke hitting Pyong Yang? Keep in mind, i am sitting in my house which is only about 20 minutes away from the Truman Presidential Library (a good place if you are ever in KC). Perhaps my proximity to the only man that ever nuked anyone in anger skews my view...
