This is a local news clip from a small town airport(KEXX) in Lexington, NC.The aviation community is in disbelief that Mr. Tate would make such statements to the media especially the one about packing explosives in the aircraft. Aviation is suffering enough without this type of publicity.

The explosives aspect was not the part that really bothered me. There was another issue, commonly known in aviation circles for years, that should have stayed "in the family".
