Flip Ultra HD Dashboard Mounting

Have any of you GA pilots had luck sticking a Flip Ultra HD to the dashboard of your plane? Most video cameras work fine but the Flip is so damn small that I'm afraid it might not stick. Anyone have any luck with this? I want to make sure before I spend 200 bucks.

The Gorillapod looks cool but Im not sure what I should wrap it around?
