Anniversary Message From Me
May 2010 marks the 4th year since I became a member of this wonderful community. No regrets, but only a surfeit of pleasures.
It has been a pleasure to meet so many professional and dedicated men and women, all of whom share a common passion. I have taken great joy in watching many a young person here develop into the consummate aviator. And more importantly, return to APC to lend a helping hand to the next generation. This is Paying It Forward at its best. I hope this continues and that it involves as many of you as possible.
During the rare quiet moments, I conjure up thoughts of my discovery flight out of BFI. I remember sharing everything with you, including the METAR of that day. Still can't tell zulu time though. I can recall, at will, some of the more witty and poignant posts about my little adventure! So I thank you all once again for being a part of my life.
A number of you have wondered about my numerous references to the F-18. Well, I wonder about them, too.
I'll only say that someone very, very special to me is an old Hornet pilot.
The best feature of APC is the opportunities to make real connections with other like-minded people. I encourage everyone to reach out to others. Don't let the negativity detract you. Be a part of taking this profession forward.

Thank you Vagabond. I must say, having had the opportunity to meet you in person and "sample your wares" makes it even more special.
