Default Need info to help restore a Piper J5 warbird

I know this probably isn't the right forum, but lots of us on here are big aviation enthusiasts outside of our airline flying.

I'm restoring an old Piper warbird that was a Navy/USMC ambulance. With all of the aviation professionals here, can you point me to resources for finding the original USMC paint scheme?
The plane is called a HE-1/AE-1 (changed to AE from HE so it wouldn't get confused with helos). The one I have was originally assigned to the USMC at MCAS Quantico in 1942. All of the paint schemes out there are Navy.. I need to find something for this plane that's Marine Corps

I've gone to The Smithsonian, The Piper Museum, The Naval Aviation Museum, and Model Airplane sites, but they all have the Navy paint scheme.

Any hardcore enthusiasts got an idea?
