Blue Angels In Seattle
So typical of Seattle to have a string of nice weather ..... until it's time for the Blue Angels.

SEATTLE - You've heard the terms High Show, Low Show and Flat Show for the Blue Angels. But, what do they mean?
According to Seafair officials, a Flat Show, like the one performed Friday afternoon, happens when the ceiling is 1,500 feet or below. The pilots only do passes. There are no aerobatics upward.
A Low Show happens between 1,501 feet and 3,500 feet. The pilots do passes and some aerobatics, but none above 3,500 feet.
The High Show is at about 3,500 feet and includes all the aerobatics you are used to seeing.
As you might expect, the Blue Angels don't decide which show they will do until shortly before the show begins.
