Default Pelican Case Luggage

It's about time to replace my luggage works roll aboard. I should probably just get another one, since it has lasted so many years. However, I am interested in this Pelican hardsided carry on. Has anyone used this? Specifically, I am wondering if it will fit in the overhead bins on the CRJ 200/700/900. Looks like a great deal, hardsided, and sealed bearing wheels. Who knows.

Exterior dimensions: 22 x 13.8 x 9

I fly a Turbo Commander for a living, but when I'm commuting (and I do every two weeks), I often fly on an RJ. I've had my Pelicans (one small and one large) for over three years and love them. They have had the sh*t beaten out of them and 'nary a problem. The small one fits in every bin I've ever tried.

That roll a board looks like a tank on wheels. If you get it let me know how it works for you. Ive had my luggage works roller three years and its already thrashed.

Costco Kirkland bags($99) are guaranteed for life even if you are no longer a member. Just zip the receipt into one of the pockets and you can exchange it nationwide. I noticed it is the same design/manufacturer as high end Tumi bags.

The pelican IS a tank. And, like the bag from Costco, has a lifetime, unconditional warranty. But, barring a run-in with a dump truck, you'll never have to worry about tripping on down to a Costco in the middle of a trip to replace it. (plus, it serves as a flotation device )

Absolutely correct. Made at same factory in China. I tore apart an old Tumi I had and it's the same construction, only difference is the Tag is sewn on in Italy. Can't beat the Kirkland lifetime warranty, reminds me of the old Craftsman tools at Sears, if it breaks just bring it in and we'll give ya a new one...

Is the small one that fits the 1510 model?

I have a Pelican case to carry a 30 inch bull barrel rifle (50" overall). The quality is unmatched. If the same standards are carried through to thier luggage you won't be dissapointed.
