Airliner Furniture
 

I was wondering if anyone here has any airliner furniture in their houses? Like seats or something like that... Or seats from the airport concourse. I am about to move into an apartment and would like some nice seats or something like that. I found some stuff on ebay but cannot find anything else. There is a place in Houston that sells this stuff, but no webpage. If anyone has any information I'd appreciate it.

You could always steal some from your local international airport or something. Just smuggle out a row of seats in your pants or something. :p

If you want more your best bet would be just to buy an un-modified aircraft seat (like the first one I posted), and make some brackets or something to turn it into a normal chair. It's cheaper that way, and then you can brag to your friends that you have a REAL aircraft chair, and you made yourself. :p

Yeah I saw those. I think I will end up doing that.. Althought the 3 seat from the DAL 1011 is pretty sweet... Not for 700 bucks though thanks for your help I'll post whatever I find here incase anyone else is looking for this stuff

there use to be this reality show where the guy did this for a living, i forget what it was called though

I happened to look at Craigslist one time in search of something (I've even forgotten what) and came upon some guy selling real aircraft seats. He had a two-seater and a three-seater. One was leather and the other was cloth, I think. Or maybe it was genuine imitation.
