Default Tour de France - Starts Sat.

This year could arguably be the greatest achievement in sports - ever. Lance is going for consecutive Tour win number seven, a feat which no other rider has ever come close.

With the shear athleticism and brute force combined with experience and teamwork could make this year's Discovery Channel team unbeatable.

Full coverage is on OLN

I'm an avid cyclist and huge fan of the Tour. There will be more American riders on various teams this year than any other time in the race's 100+ year history. Watch a couple of the stages, especially the ones in the mountains and you'll get hooked as the stories unfold.

Me too (if you couldn't tell by the post above!). Check out this month's Outside magazine, it has a great profile on former Postal riders that are riding for other teams this year and how they could be a threat. Then again there is Ulrich, Klosten, Basso, et al.

I think Discovery can do it this year, but it won't be a give away by any stretch.

The Tivo is set to record the entire race on OLN.

It's early in the prologue and the big names haven't gone yet, but American David Zabriskie is atop the leader board by over a minute. We could have another Yankee in yellow at the end of the day!
