I can't stand these types of apologies. Everyone knows you're only saying it because you being forced.

It should have gone something like:

What I said is how I feel, sorry if you don't like that. You can think of me however you wish, I really don't care. Last I knew, we have the right to free speech...unless someone gets their feelers hurt. I'm only sorry that what I said, was heard by so many thin-skinned, sensitive whiners. I think its very telling that SWA has changed its disciplinary policy. Looks like the CP let him off too easy for the "head shed." Now, if you screw up at SWA, HR and Legal get to have an input on what happens to you.

I'm sure they'd love to fire this guy, but since they've already "punished" him, they can't hammer him anymore.

They'll leave that to all the F/As he has to fly with from now on.

I read online somewhere that this pilot left Southwest. Is that true? I can't imagine that being true...
