Default The 'New' Zulu?

Has anyone tried the new Lightspeed Zulu yet? I have been looking into buying one for the last few months and was excited to see the price dropped, but now they have a 'new' zulu. Besides a slightly nicer look, I don't see anything different. Is it really worth the extra $160?

Well I am glad I sold my old Zulu headset before the price drop. I feel sorry for the person that bought a year old headset when they could have just spent 50 bucks more for a new one.

I'm curious about the new Zulu also. My David Clark has seen much better days, and I'm afraid I'm not too far away from making a new headset purchase. Does anyone have good/bad experience the new Zulu?

The old Zulu was a great headset. It did have a couple of bugs like static noise, and I think they fixed the bugs on the new one, so yeah I would say the extra money is well spent. I do not have one though.

I have a Zulu (considered the old one now I guess?) and it is amazing
I've used David Clarks and the Bose X.. I prefer my Zulu by far.

@new Zulu
I guess if they fixed the static thing, then great! I learned to love the static, it reminds me that the headset is on and reminds me to turn it off when I'm done.
When I'm flying, I never notice it, only when I turn off all the comms do I notice it.
