Flight Sim + Joy Stick and Mixture Quadrant

Hey guys... Im thinking of getting my own control column and the Saanich mixture controls to use with my flight sim software... Now I see the pilot store in FXE got the control column with the mixture quadrant already for $150.. Im thinking of buying a regular joystick from an elenctronic store and use it with the mixture quadrant which can be bought separately..

I been told I can just buy another mixture quadrant for $50 and stack it together and it becomes twin engine controls... I can get a reasonably priced joystick just the one which my CFI lent me. If I got the joystick, can I simply just buy two of the Saanich mixture quadrants and use it along with it. Will like to be able to throw in a simulated engine failure on climb out with the mixture controls just to keep fresh with that . I know i can have that pre set in the software for an engine failure at a particular time in the flight. That will save me having to buy the yolk/mixture quadrant for $150.. Any thoughts please be appreciated !!

just checked Best Buy got Logitech joysticks for 25-35 dollars...

. Where does the mixture quadrant connect too in the pc ?

About 2 yrs ago, I bought the whole kit and kabudle. I have the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System; which comes with 3 lever quadrant module and the Pro Flight Rudder Pedals. At the time, I think I paid a total of $278.00

If I'm not mistaken, I believe its one of the USB ports.
