Artists seek the edge of possible emotional experience and sometimes fall over the edge during the search. We owe them a huge debt for what they do for us, and it is always tragic when one passes before completing a journey. In a way though it is just a part of the risk in exploring anything wonderful. To not have gone at all would be more tragic.

He basically is very anti-drugs/drinking and talks down about all his contemporaries who didn't necessarily share the same philosophy.

she was a train wreck...my only regret about this whole thing is that she will be "more" famous now...nothing makes us more imfamous then death...
