What a great scam for insurance sales, true or not you can raise the rates with no real risk increase. Beautiful.

So what was Mr. Schiffmans degree in again? Economics? Physics? Jounalism? Social Justice? Cant seem to find out. Not that it matters, I know his political persuation and all's he wants is to be thought as generous with someone elses money.

"Richard Schiffman is the author of two books and is a poet based in New York City, as well as a former freelance journalist."

He is a paid political hack who clearly has a lot of trouble taking a set of facts and constructing a logical conclusion. His premise is false, most of his "facts" are of his own construction and he drives on the far left side of the road all the time.
Much like the OP. Pretty sad that someone who pretends to be interested in science would use this article as anything but a liner for a bird cage bottom.

So what your saying is that the earths climate is changing. Got it.

It's doing the same thing it's always done and will continue to do until the sun burns up. I don't think I will live long enough to see it but I can only imagine the hysteria the left will come up with when the sun is close to burning itself out. "We must tax the people to pay for the plan to recharge the sun"

For anyone actually interested in the science and who has noted the glaring lack of it in this thread and wondered why, I can recommend a couple of very interesting and detailed overview articles by someone very qualified on the subject.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

About the Author
Dr David M.W. Evans consulted full-time for the Australian Greenhouse Office (now the Department of Climate Change) from 1999 to 2005, and part-time 2008 to 2010, modeling Australia’s carbon in plants, debris, mulch, soils, and forestry and agricultural products. Evans is a mathematician and engineer, with six university degrees including a PhD from Stanford University in electrical engineering. The evidence supporting the idea that CO2 emissions were the main cause of global warming reversed itself from 1998 to 2006, causing Evans to move from being a warmist to a skeptic. The response Evans received for making some obvious points about the evidence in 2007 was overly-strong and dishonest, alerting him that there was more to the global warming issue than just the science.

If it's not peer reviewed, it's just an opinion.

Dr. David Evans was described in a brief bio note in an opinion column in The Australian disputing global warming as a former "consultant to the Australian Greenhouse Office from 1999 to 2005". This article has been refuted online.

Here's the research database entry on David Evans:

No peer-reviewed articles on climate change

According to his own resume, Evans has not published a single peer-reviewed research paper on the subject of climate change. Evans published only a single paper in 1987 in his career and it is unrelated to climate change...

People who take the time to read the two articles by Dr. Evans now understand fully why the peer review process in climate science is flawed, why you make the types of arguments you do, and why you never direct us to any real science.
