Yeah Fred and I are best buddies, he provides me with enough income to just barely pay my taxes and keep you in welfare.

The U.S. is by far a bigger CO2 emitter than India on any basis and China on a per capita basis.

China is also far ahead of the U.S. on green energy technology.

How many bankers went to jail for the global economic crisis? How much of their ill-gotten gains were clawed back?
Accountable to the 'stockholders'? I hope you're kidding. Please read John Bogle's book, Battle for the Soul of Capitalism. Board of director slates are usually forwarded by management (not shareholders) and rubber stamped by the mutual funds that control 60% of the shares.
As for politicians there are these things called elections. We get the politicians we deserve.

Your lack of understanding of simple facts makes such discussions challenging. Almost every one of your assertions is erroneous so it is not surprising that you have come to the wrong conclusion on climate change. What is clear is that you don't let facts stand in the way of your silly story.

I was quite clear that on a per capita basis the US is a bigger CO2 emitter than China and India.

You continue to believe the false narrative of so called climate change when the overwhelming evidence shows otherwise. Either way at the end of the day my side will prevail in policy

LOL
Who could forget the hilariously wrong apocalyptic predictions on the first "Earth Day" in 1970? Among them were the end of civilization within 15-30 years, 100-200 million deaths to starvation annually for ten years, urban dwellers having to wear gas masks to survive, and my personal favorite – an ice age by the year 2000.
Every major prediction you enviro-wackos have made has been proven false since the first of you rose up out of the slime.
Warmist fear-mongers pushing a leftist socio-economic agenda crack me up.
