You have confused the useful with the useless, no corporation forces you to buy any of those things.

My point was, left to their own devices, you are pretty much at gunpoint from corporations that will take advantage of you in scenarios. Either that or you choose not to live and sustain yourself.
You mistake the left/right as the sole waste of resources-all government is responsible.

Corporations do not force you to buy anything. A fool can be taken advantage of by corporations or government, but only government can coerce you.

Why don't you refresh our memory-who is regulating those evil corporations?

+1
And that last line is dead on and gets lost in the clamor .

You lefties got any arguments that dont involve wasting 30 minutes on utube? So how do you capture them, I might watch the video if it involves Tx Rangers, horses, and ropes. Sort of like a gene autry movie, of course them glaciers is big, might take gene and roy.

If you ride one all the way to texas, you might have enough ice left to fill a couple of scotch glasses. Cause aint no point in capturing one unless IAW the best traditions of western civ you exploit it right?

That's too bad, Texas could really use a glacier.

Glaciers have been melting for about 15,000 years in the latest cycle of warming, yet some still think this is news. People were talking about this on stone tablets.

How to react to global warming (if at all) is certainly a political discussion, but the fact that politics gets inserted while simply looking at the numbers still amazes me. Everyone is entitled their opinion over how to deal with climate change -- but close your eyes and stick your fingers in your ears and your voice becomes irrelevant, and the result you most wish to avoid becomes more likely to occur.

That's like saying "There's absolutely no way my house is on fire, it's just warmer because it's July." The climate goes through cycles and global temperatures rise and fall, but what has happened in recent decades is so far out of normal cyclical patterns that there has to be something else going on.

Right, there were no previous ice ages, no warming and no dramatic temperature changes proir to the emergence of mankind.
Ignoring the record will not erase it.
