The real problem is that "climate science" is far removed from any of the above, we may as well call it a religion completely devoid of fact.

Sir, if you will, please explain the massive climate change on Earth long before humans appeared. Your move.
Oh I know even less about it than the scientists who study it! As always, I read your posts with great interest because you seem to have the best grip on a rational argument that leans conservative.

I guess at this point we can trust the current data or we cannot. If it's only a question of economics then it makes sense - why would the most powerful country in the world want to hamstring itself while developing nations catch up?

Wish I knew and could give you an answer.

As a person who likes science, the scientific method, and reason, I don't see that the scientists doing the hard work are at a basic level people who support taxing the ever loving crap out of things.

Climate change has become politicized so much that people don't trust the scientific method. They prefer to listen to their favorite brand of politics tell them climate change isn't real (snowball on the house floor), or that it is (while flying expensive private jet all over the world).
What is the scientific method other than:
Post an Hypothesis
Test Hypothesis
Determine if hypothesis is correct.

The warmist have a theory, CO2 causes warming. They test this hypothesis with their computer models and observation. The test fails but yet their theory survives. And you want to talk about science.

Are you sure you want to talk about the science or the last twenty years of data? Please go ahead.

I see the same trite non points from your ilk over and over. I could provide the same links to NASA, USGS, NOAA, universities, etc. you will just continue to;

The fact remains is that your blind political and emotional bias is causing you to ignore an overwhelming consensus of scientists. Some of you remind me of Flat Earthers

That the Earth was flat was the consensus at one time, we have moved on, but some of us pretend a consensus exists in other matters.
I have no political or emotional bias, my opinion is based on known data and science.
Why don't you share your science and data with us, explain the ice ages and warming cycles prior to human appearance. Tell us the correct temperature for Earth.
If you want to ignore the vast geological history, it really shows us who the denier is, and it is you.

I'd be happy if he could demonstrate one test that validates his hypothesis. That would be "science".

are you claiming that because the Middle East sheep herders thought this that all of the world's civilizations thought the same?

Look, what have those "scientists" ever done for us?!

Perhaps a review of what passes for "science" is in order:

It is a bit of a shame we have to rely on foreign papers for the news:

If you really want to know the truth, do a little research on the owners of the CME carbon trading exchange, it failed but the backers tell you everything you need to know about the scam-and it was set to be one very grand scam.

Is Carbon Trading the Next Big Thing? - Wall Street & Technology

And of course with all of this "science" there is the small matter of the actual data, data that had to be manipulated to support the preordained conclusion.
There is an agreement, we can all agree that this is fraud on a massive scale.
