Great Website Find

Someone linked me to this site, it is pretty interesting....

http://skyvector.com

just type in the designator and it shows you a viewing of the current chart and tells you whether or not the info is current and it also has circles around all the airports with weather observation that you can mouse over and it will tell you the metar and a simple click on the airport will give you metar/taf and up to date airport info.

Cool site! Have you ran across anything with IFR Low and High charts?

Not yet, however in the top right of the chart on that site it gives you chart options for example the KCRQ area list the LA chart and the San Diego TAC..Im always looking though

Wow. I just found out about two of "my" old planes...

One is flying lots more than the company used to use it.

The other went to Greenland on Oct 6 and from there, the program can't track it. Very interesting...since Chieftains don't use go to Europe. Hmmph

It only tracks domestic flights I'm afraid. But still it's pretty cool. It would be cool if they could come up with something like this for VFR flights on flight following.

I've seen a couple of VFR Flights on Flight Following on there, its a hit or miss type of thing, if you file a flight plan and get flight following, you will sometimes find the flight up there. But like I said, it is real hit or miss.
