Anyone else seen this movie? I went last night and was impressed with the effects although the plot they put the main characters into was pretty lame.
Sorry if this is a spoiler, but here is the plot.
"Aliens attack earth - Dad struggles to get the kids back to thier Mom"
I'm not sure what I expected but it's almost as if the story was just an excuse to showcase some really good CG and effects. Typical hollywood crap - but with lots and lots of eye candy.
UPDATE: I was messing around in the garage and found a way to make that realy loud honking sound that "tripods' make in the movie using the air compressor. Scared the crap out my better half
