That whole letter shows open contempt for the pilot membership and resigns us to years and years of fruitless mediation, but then finishes with some half-arsed explanation that he's the best person to represent us in further negotiations. Huh? Let me paraphrase -- "You're all stupid! I'm smart! We'll never get anything now! I'm clearly the best person to represent you."

3rd (old one): Myself again for flying a Piper Warrior single pilot with 150 hours into ORD. This one has a double tool factor. One for flying into ORD in a Piper Warrior, and two for thinking I was hot sh*t for the next two weeks cause I flew into ORD in a Warrior.

Can you imagine over 43 instances of QRH-directed engine shutdowns and/or compressor stall issues at American Airlines in just over 7 weeks? What about over 28 aircraft landing under emergency status in a single domicile in a single day? Or over 86 air returns/mechanical diversions in a five day period? If Allegiant were the size of American Airlines, this would be the case.
