Okra
 

Today I would just like to mention Okra-pickled, fried, stir fried or steamed.
One of the best things to eat. Not seen often in catering, nor are fresh figs, but both are a real treat.

Don't forget dried okra

not trying to out do you but quinoa is really healthy. Although you can't compare it to okra regarding the ease of packing it for the road.

Come over to Saudia, you can get all the dates and figs ya want but still no okra?
