A veteran kamikaze... That's like saying you're a veteran suicide bomber.

Still awesome that a Zero will take flight!

A lot of Japanese kids were "trained," if you can call a couple flights training, but never had a chance to fly their mission.

Did they 'train' on how to...land? If not, this guy could probably use a few hours in the pattern first, doing something new to him, ie. Touch and Go's!

They must have because they were told not to waste their airplane. But one pilot was reportedly shot after he came back nine times.

As The kamikaze instructor addressed his students he announced "pay very close attention as I will only show you this once":)

I'm glad that this is a authentic Zero and not a T-6 in disguise. Apparently from what I've read, a lot of the Kamikaze pilots were pressed into this service, unwilling volunteers, often screaming "Mother" as they took their final plunge into a target.

For those that have seen Empire Of The Sun, the main Character befriends a Japanese soldier who was turned into a Kamikaze pilot, but never managed to go on a mission.
